Many people asked us whether we have named our spa after the Kama Sutra. No, we haven't (not that it's very important - but we think we are more cultural than that). Our Kama is based on the character Kamala in Hermann Hesse's novel Siddhartha, which is based on an amalgamation of many Indian mythologies. We think Kamala is the most interesting character in the book. Not surprising, because she is a woman. She is beautiful, smart, sensual, independent and true to herself. We want our spa to embody these qualities too.
